Longview's main Victorian office is located within a multi-tenancy commercial building comprising basement parking, Longview's dedicated office level and a separate upper-floor tenancy. With approximately 85 staff operating from the site and multiple areas of shared and separately occupied space, the building required a security solution that could provide controlled access and visibility across the entire property.
Forever Secure was engaged to undertake a comprehensive security upgrade across the building, replacing and improving key elements of the existing security infrastructure. The project incorporated a new TVT CCTV system, Elite alarm system and Akuvox access control throughout the building, creating a more integrated and manageable security environment for Longview and the wider property.
In addition to the main building works, Forever Secure also implemented dedicated security measures for Longview's key room at a separate location, protecting an area containing critical physical security assets.
The building presented a number of challenges due to its multi-tenancy layout and the different areas requiring controlled access.
Longview needed to maintain secure access to its own office environment while also managing access throughout shared building areas, including the basement car park and common access points. The presence of a separate tenancy on the upper floor also meant that access permissions needed to be carefully considered across different occupants and areas of the building.
With approximately 85 staff using the site, the access control system needed to provide a practical way of managing users while maintaining appropriate security across the property.
The existing security infrastructure also required an upgrade to provide improved CCTV coverage, alarm protection and modern access control capabilities.
Separately, Longview's dedicated key room required additional protection due to the importance of the assets and keys stored within the room.
